The boots we mentioned above are actually hand-painted for the first time ever. The boots have a cute red and white design, and are made from genuine leather with a little cushioning and an excellent fit. They are made by the folks at Toms, a company that specializes in toddler shoes, and they are adorable and adorable enough to be made into a pair of handmade booties.
The Toms’ website describes the boots as “a bit too large for a pair of toddler shoes, but are extremely cute nonetheless.” A pair that is one inch longer than the ones we have pictured here would fit just right in the shoes.
The Toms website doesn’t want anything to do with the shoes you’ve just seen, so we decided to set them up a little differently. We want to make sure that the boots have a nice fit and are a little snug.
The boots are made in Germany with a good quality leather, which would make them a bit too big for our toddler shoes, but we’ll be sure to make them smaller in the future.
Our toddler shoes will be a tad bit tight. But we thought we’d take an extra step and make the boot more adjustable, as we find it easier for our toddler boy to wear them.
To make the boots more flexible, we used a material called “Vibram Suede” which is a very lightweight and stretchy leather. This material can be molded to any shape, which gives us the flexibility we want without being too bulky.
