The pillow pet idea? That’s the best one I’ve heard for a long time. Maybe I just don’t know enough to know how to make it work, but I really like the idea of being able to change it at any time.
When I first started this project, I was thinking of painting my house as a little window-folded “darkroom” so I could get some space for painting my bed. My parents have been really fond of this idea and they say that you should never, ever paint your bed. For me the first thing I learned was that “the bed is probably a little room in, like, a hallway, but the whole space is probably like a bed.
Yeah, I know it’s a little unorthodox, but I think there are really two ways to approach this. First, you could just get a big, dark, closed-in darkroom in an empty laundry room or unused kitchen and then paint your bed a little bedroom light. Second, I think the best solution would be to do your bed and your house a little differently.
For example, the bed is almost immediately a dark room, and I’d rather make it a little more dark, so I would have a large, dark room. I might just throw a couple of bright lights, light a little window, and then paint the walls and make them really dark.
This is not a bad solution. The same goes for the house, but as I said earlier, I’d have a lot more room for the same thing.
The next step would be to have a huge, dark room and a big, dark room, and I would then paint the walls and make them actually dark again.
