I don’t really get the knee hockey nets at all. The only reason they were made was because the old netting had holes in it and was falling apart, so they just figured they would be cool to use in such an old way. I guess I just thought of them as pretty cool and I didn’t think about that they were a good solution for keeping your child off the ball.
I have to agree with you there. I was a goalie too until my knee popped out so I could play it on the ice. The only problem was that I was very young so I couldn’t really jump that high or throw the puck really far. I tried out a pair of netting but it was a nightmare to use.
What knee hockey nets are good for, again, depends on the size of your child. I would use the small ones but my knees are super fat so I have to use the small ones. I have a pair of 10 inch ones (about $60) and I love them. They are pretty awesome, even though it is very hard to throw it over your net.
The knee hockey nets are really good for kids because they really help with their agility and balance. The small ones are great for big kids and the tall ones for little kids. I have a pair for my 12 and 13 year old kids that are about 14 and 15 years old. My husband has a pair for his 8 year old son that is about 6 years old and it is just awesome. If you are looking for a cheap pair, I recommend buying some cheap netting.
