Hover hockey glaze is a fantastic solution for painting anything that is subject to water damage. It protects the surface while it protects the paint with a protective layer to prevent the paint from getting water-borne. The result of the glaze is a protective barrier that can prevent the paint from being chipped and splattered on. There is no need to wait for the paint to dry before you can make repairs.
I use hover hockey glaze on my concrete driveway, kitchen counter, and other surfaces that regularly get water damage. It’s also excellent for painting any glass or plastic window. It takes about 45 minutes for the glaze to fully dry, and because it’s a water-based product, it does not require any extra supplies, like sandpaper or paint.
It’s super fun to run your hand over the glaze, and I think it’s a good way to keep your paint-less eyes shut when you’re doing the glaze. The acrylic paint on my wall can easily be ruined by water and air, but its also a great paint with plenty of protection from the elements.
My brother-in-law recently bought an awesome pair of hover hockey glazey tek from Home Depot, and I wanted to give it a try. I was a little worried about the glaze, but I figured it would work just fine if I used a tiny bit of sandpaper. To my surprise, it was actually pretty easy to run my fingers over the surface.
I have to say that I was a bit skeptical at first, but after I did the first couple of coats with the glaze, it became quite easy to do. I even used the glaze on my own wall and it just looked so professional. It may not look great, but it was a lot easier to do than I thought it would be.
I was more hesitant before, but after a few days of using the glaze on my living room wall, I was able to get it all done. I was actually in the middle of painting a new kitchen, so I used a very light coat (maybe 2 or 3 coats), only on the trim. The end result is a really nice and even finish.
If you’re wanting to use a light coat, you’ll want to use a glaze. But in order to get that glaze you should use a very light coat. If you don’t use a very light coat, you won’t be able to get a good glaze.
