Have you ever held onto your hockey knee pads? Whether it’s been for a long time, or more recently, it can be a stressful thing to hold onto something that is no longer useful. When I’m wearing my hockey knee pads, I often think about the fact that I need to wash my hair, brush my teeth, and get dressed in a hurry. This is where the self-awareness part comes in.

The fact is that if you want to spend more time with your hockey playing, you need to start wearing them. If you do, you can stop wearing them.

So when you go to the grocery store and you notice that your hockey knee pads are all the way gone, it means that you’ve been holding onto them for a long time. When you realize that this is actually a bad thing, you can be proactive in your self-awareness. If you notice that you’re holding onto your hockey knee pads for too long, you can start wearing them.
