A game table that I have for a decade is a really good conversation piece. The only thing is, it has a reputation as a bad conversation piece. When it was one of my first conversation pieces (and thus the most well known) I thought it was a good conversation piece. So I thought I’d take a shot and see how I felt about it. Well, I’m a realist. I realized that it was a piece that had a reputation for being ugly.
I have this issue with this game table. It’s been a mess. My wife and I had this problem on a few different nights. It’s gotten to the point where we all were on a play date and we didn’t have enough time. So I decided to put a new game table into our table and see if I could get it done.
We got a great response. The most popular comment on the forums was that it’s pretty nice and we should keep it. But it hasn’t been pretty. It’s a mess. We decided that we were too busy with the three kids to get the game table done and put it on the table. In addition to that, we decided that we were busy with the kids anyway and that we needed it to work. So it just sat there.
The thing is, we had to make some decisions about how to handle it. We didn’t want to wait for the game table to finish. But we wanted to make it work and have it ready for when the kids got home so we decided that it would have to go on the table. It’s not like we’re going to stop working on it, but we wanted to make it work for the kids as much as possible.
I don’t have any advice for you about how to handle the game table, but it’s not entirely obvious.
I think what you ought to do is let it hang out for as long as you can before you start making major decisions.
We decided that it would be easiest to make it part of the game table rather than having it hang out there. It seemed like a good compromise to us. The game table is a 3-in-1, so there’s a lot of room on one end for stuff. The game table is also a lot more flexible than most of the games we’ve made lately, so we can add/remove tables or rearrange them as needed.
You can always add a game table as a free-standing table, but it gets kind of ugly when you have more than one game table side by side. It makes it harder to see what is where and to sort things out. That’s why we decided to make the game table a part of the game table, so that it was easier to see and easier to sort.
