This vintage rug was an awesome find at a local thrift shop and I’ve been loving it ever since. It’s warm, comfortable, and a great accent to my kitchen. The perfect touch that’s hard to find.
The fact that this rug is on sale at a thrift shop (and at an affordable price, too) shows that people do not generally think to look for vintage rugs. In the case of this rug there was a reason the store owner put it on the rack, and that was because it was an awesome find.
This rug is gorgeous, but it feels more like a rug made from wood, and so a lot to work with that I really like that it’s more of a wooden rug. I can’t get past it.
It’s hard to find a good vintage rug when you’re on eBay. I don’t think the rug’s worth the price because it’s only $19.99.
I agree with you. This is a rug so great that I am actually tempted to pick it up. The price on it is still so good that it may make me keep it. However there are so many rugs that are better than this one, that its probably a good idea to find another rug to purchase.
Yeah, I agree, I think it is a nice antique rug but I don’t think it is the best rug you can get for the price.
Sure, some of the rugs on here are actually on there way to me so I may just end up doing a bit of a shopping spree on eBay. It would be a wonderful gift.
The problem is that most of the rugs on here are all either very high quality rugs or rugs that are very outdated. The rug pictured is one of the best ones we have seen and it is not only beautiful, but also very sturdy and very well made. It’s probably a good idea to start with something more affordable, but still worth it.
I’ll be the first to say that I’m not a rug person, and the idea of buying a rug that isn’t in it’s prime (which is why I have a lot of rugs in my house) is something that I don’t think anyone should have to think about. But I’m also going to say that we all need to think about buying rugs so that they last us a lifetime.
Just to be clear, we’re not talking about rugs that are made of wood or bamboo. We’re talking about those that are made of recycled glass. The most common type of glass that we use for rugs is the type that is made from the recycled bottles of water bottles. This is because they tend to be more durable and last longer (and are usually made from recycled bottles that are already recycled and are already made of glass).
