I’ve seen a black hockey cage all over the internet, but this one was just too cool to pass up. It’s a simple, yet elegant way to say that you’re a hockey, hockey player. This was my favorite project of the summer.
The black hockey cage was actually created by a student named Kevin. He wanted to create a graphic that resembled a hockey stick, but without the hockey stick part. So he simply used a black stick to make a hockey cage. Then he painted it in black, and it looks amazing.

The video above doesn’t show the real hockey cage, but it does show the back design. The back design is great because you can use any kind of masking material to get the right look. I used a white masking material, but this is just as good. The masking material helps the back design stand out against the white background.
I think the back design is pretty awesome. It shows off the quality of the masking material. It also showcases how smooth the black stick is. In fact, the stick seems almost the same color of the masking material. I have heard it said that the masking material is supposed to act like a black-and-white print.
Actually, the masking material seems to be used to make the stick a little bit more of a black stripe, giving it a nice shiny aspect. I don’t know what that’s supposed to do though. It just seems like it’s a bit too big for the stick; just like the masking material, it’s supposed to hide the stick from the viewer.
The masking material is supposed to be a kind of black-and-white print. The “black” part is just a small portion of the masking material that makes it look like its been applied. The “white” of the masking material, the part that makes the stick black, seems to be hiding the stick from the viewer, but it does seem to have some effect on the stick itself, so I’m not sure what the effect is supposed to be.
I would like to see if this is true, but what it looks like is that the black part of the masking material has been applied to the surface of the stick and that the white is all of the stick that hasn’t been touched by the masking material, making it look like the stick is invisible and the black part is covering the stick.
We don’t know what the effect is supposed to be, it could be the black masking material completely covering the stick, or it could be the stick being completely invisible and the masking material covering only part of the stick. Also, with the “white” being the entire stick, the white part of the masking material could be covering only part of the stick, so it looks like there is a masking material for the stick. If it is, that would be very cool.
The main reason for the black part is that it hides the little bit of black masking material that is visible and the white part of the masking material. It is a very effective masking material that can be used to mask the black part.
