I’m excited to announce that my baby girl is now officially potty trained. She’s had her diaper for about 4 days now. I didn’t even realize how much she would need that much time until now. She takes her first poop, and I am super proud.
The best thing about potty training is how much you actually notice how it makes you feel. Its not only the fact that it makes you feel confident and sexy (which makes you feel super sexy), but also how much you care for your baby. It also makes you a much better parent than you were before, because you’re able to handle a little poop now.
It’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. I remember feeling exactly the same way as you when I was a kid (I had a little bit of a diaper rash at 12 because I was so obsessed with my potty), and I’ve never been that proud of myself. I always tried to hide how much I wanted to poop, so the fact that I’m now able to do it in public, and I’m able to do it so well, is a huge accomplishment.
