I know it is the most popular title of our blog, but it is something that I had to include here. I actually have three levels of self-awareness. I have self awareness, I have self-aware that I don’t know what I am doing, and I have self-aware that I am not aware of what I am doing. I tend to be the third one.
I get asked a lot, “What are you? Are you aware of your actions?” and I usually answer with, “I’m aware I’m doing these things.” This is not because I am the one who asks the question. I get asked the question a lot because I’m the one who is usually the one who answers with, “It’s not me, its the situation.
I know this is not a good answer, but I know that most of the time, people who ask me that question really just want to know what I am doing. They want to know that they can do it as well, and they want to know that they can do it in a comfortable environment. Most of the time though, they want to know why they can’t do it anymore, and they want to know how to do it again.
I always tell people that I have no interest in answering that question, but I don’t.
Most of the time, that question is a result of laziness. A person who doesn’t have much self-awareness is a person who is often unaware of what they’re doing. However, a person who has a lot of self-awareness is more likely to be able to recognize what’s going on around them without having to be distracted by what they’re doing.
This is the main reason I like to use the word “stick feet.” The first time I learned to tie my shoes, I thought they were holding me back. I was so wrong. I was so wrong because I was really only thinking about what I wanted to do when I was tying the laces. I was not thinking about what I wanted to do when I was tying the shoes. I was just thinking about how I wanted to tie the laces.
In contrast, sticks feet allow our minds to focus on what we want to do instead of what we think we want to do. For example, imagine you’re in a large group that is walking and you’re in the middle of a conversation and someone suddenly starts yelling at you. Your mind only thinks about the conversation and not what you should be doing or how you should be doing it.
The same is true of our minds. We think about what we want to do or what we want to have happen when we get dressed, but it’s actually just a distraction from the task at hand. This is why we always need to focus on the task and what we want to do while we’re getting dressed.
When we don’t pay attention to what we’re doing we are constantly distracted. This is often the case because we forget where we are and what we need to do. In order to get things done in your life you have to focus on what you are doing, where you are, and the people around you. If you’re busy, you’ll never see the forest for the trees.
This is also why we always get distracted and distracted so often. It’s important to focus on a task, and what you are doing, in order to get things done. But in order to do this, you need to focus on the task in front of you. If you are focused on everything but what’s in front of you, you will always end up doing something else. This is a good thing in our opinion.
