I was introduced to air hockey at a recent family outing. The girls had never played before and I had a ton of questions. I was a bit apprehensive as I had never played before, but I was able to learn so much from both my husband and my daughter. I learned so many things, like how to shoot the puck and be the goalie.
I also learned a lot about what sports means to me. For example, I learned that soccer is an American sport played on a field made of pieces of wood, and that in the U.S. we play soccer in a lot of different forms, not just soccer. I also learned to appreciate the fact that my husband works out of a gym, so he likes to eat a lot. There are also some other things I learned.
I learned that I am not as physically gifted as both my husband and my daughter. I don’t know why, but I have been told I have a gift for playing basketball, so I guess that I must be pretty good at it. I also learned that my husband was the first person I ever told to try a new sport I was trying to learn. So I guess that’s why I’m good at it.
A few years ago I came across a site called Sportcraft.com, which is a site that shows players how to play sports. It is pretty amazing. When I first saw it, it was pretty much a collection of all the games that my mom played. I was pretty pleased with the results, but I quickly realized that it was just a bunch of games and I had no idea who to look at. This site is so very funny.
I can still watch Game of Thrones online. I’m still watching it. After a couple seasons I realized I would’ve loved to watch some of the more “sporty” sports like badminton or something. When I heard about the new Air Hockey game that the devs made for the game I was interested. I’m really excited to see how it turns out.
It’s a bit tricky to explain. You know how sports have been all about one team playing against one other team? Well, here the team that is winning the game is a team that plays against other teams. They are basically the enemy, but they are also the team that can win the game. The goal is to score as many goals as you can then be the one that wins the game. Sounds similar to a team of chess players.
One of the other cool things about this game is that there’s a bunch of little modes that you can play against each other. In my opinion they are all fun, but I didn’t really notice them until I was already in game and trying to score goals. Once I started playing I was amazed at how easy it was to win. It’s also pretty fun to throw the puck around while playing.
This game actually feels like a cross between a game of Monopoly and a game of Scrabble. You get to create your very own teams, and play other players against each other. You pick the starting players on the spot and then you can play on a variety of different modes.
