A group of friends and family, we often get together to discuss the upcoming season of hockey and how it’s all going for us. That sounds like fun, but it doesn’t change the fact that our emotions and behaviors are probably on autopilot for a few days.
When we think about it in the moment, no, hockey does not sound fun. There’s just something about the way it’s played that makes it look this way. The way you get a puck from one end of the rink to the other is a lot like the way you get a puck in a hockey game. It’s almost as if you’re watching the puck and getting thrown in the air and then tumbling down the ice before falling hard into the boards.
